SiTE:LAB is excited to present OPEN FRAME: Miami Beach, a Special Project in the Monuments sector of the 10th edition of UNTITLED. OPEN FRAME: Miami Beach is an accessible architectural structure and performance space by artist Paul Amenta and architect Ted Lott, in collaboration with Not Design, featuring performances by Kyd Kane and SuperDre, among others. This project is being realized in partnership with Calvin University and KBOgroup, and with generous financial support by Lott3Metz Architecture and DisArt.
OPEN FRAME: Miami Beach is an armature facilitating dynamic programming and community engagement—functioning as a stage for art events, a platform for local, national, and international artists, and a social gathering space for the community. Not Design will operate a pop-up letterpress studio within the structure, producing live responsive content during performances that will be displayed on the structure.
